It is cumbersome when you often need to restart Windows Explorer manually. This is necessary when e.g. your installation procedure must update files that are in use by Explorer. Or when you develop Windows Explorer namespace extensions (NSE's); each time you test your name space extension, you have to restart Explorer to be able to compile your NSE again.
For this reason we have developed ShellDispenser; a small utility that will make restarting Windows Explorer that much easier. Restarting Windows Explorer can now be done with the press of a key, or as an integrated build step in your development environment or installation script!
If restarting Explorer is a part of your job, then ShellDispenser is the tool you have been looking for!
Go to the ShellDispenser home page for more detailed information on ShellDispenser and to download the latest version.
